I’m not sure that I know anyone who doesn’t like Taco’s!
I grew up as an American Missionary Kid living in rural England in the 1980’s, where the local cuisine was very meat and potatoes with a side of cream on everything.I remember many times my parents having guests for dinner and serving them this new and unique food: Tacos. Even to the most wary English Farmer, Taco’s were always met with interested faces and happy smiles once the first bite was risked… and to this day I STILL feel that Tacos are ( while now readily recognizable to all!) a fun meal and appropriate for serving to a wide variety of guests!
Make sure you nix the store bought Taco Seasoning ( which can be filled with MSG and other nasties) and take just a couple of extra minutes to whip up a batch of Adara’s Organic Taco Seasoning. I make up a double recipe once a month and no longer buy the pre-made variety.
I like to serve them buffet style when we have lots of people and wrapped with little Gem Lettuce Leaves. Lettuce wrapping these Turkey Taco’s makes them extremely light and keeps them in the ‘Paleo’ and ‘Clean’ group of eating. I use RAW cheese, which doesn’t seem to both those of us with dairy issues.
