My Simple Green Salad

Simple. Delicate. Satisfying.




This salad comes together in moments and showcases the bright flavors of mixed greens and good quality oils and vinegars. When you simplify the amount of ingredients you use the quality of the ones you DO use can really shine. No need to break the bank, just purchase the best you can find within your budget.


I love to purchases simple mixed greens at the grocery store or farmers market. I you can find locally grown and organic that's even better! Cold Pressed Organic Olive Oil lends a bright grassy flavor, balanced perfectly with smooth Balsamic and tangy Lemon. Sea Salt and a touch of Sugar pull out the natural juices from the lettuce so you don't even need to mix up a 'dressing'.


So you will see I don't have specific measurements listed here. It's all about a little drizzle of each. But don't be shy.



Toss this together 10 mins before serving. xo



Ingredients:

Mixed Greens

Juice of 1 Lemon

Olive Oil to drizzle

Balsamic Vinegar to drizzle

1/2 tsp Sea Salt

2 Tbsp Raw Sugar


Method:

Place the mixed greens in a large bowl.

Sprinkle with Sea Salt and Raw Sugar.

Squeeze the juice of Lemon over, finally drizzle with Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar.

Toss everything together and serve soon.
