Oats are the go to healthy start for me. As a mama, an athlete, for my kiddos on a school day. My friend Julianna showed me how she adds egg whites to simple oatmeal a few years ago... well, I've never looked back! The oats get lighter and fluffy!

You can use boxed egg whites or fresh ones - it's up to you!
I prefer to use rolled oats instead of quick cooking, their nutritional values just so much richer. Oats are all of B vitamins making them a mood stabilizing super food. Adding in both Chia and Hemp seeds gives nice little fat and protein boost too.

For toppings, make it your own! Honey, Peanut Butter, fruit are all amazing additions.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup Rolled Oats
1 cup Almond Milk or Water
1 tsp Hemp Seeds
1 tsp Chia Seeds
1/4 cup Egg Whites ( or two fresh egg whites)
Method:
Over medium heat, stir together the oats, milk and seeds.
Cook until softened, about 3 mins, stirring constantly.
Whisk in the Egg Whites and cook or an additional minute or two.

Done! Transfer to a bowl and add in your favorite toppings!
